One popular use for this product is a temporary roof due to its extra durability and reliable waterproof properties. Other purposes include covering boats, trailers and cars from rain and other detrimental elements. Being green on one side and brown on the other, the sheeting will blend in with the outside surroundings and will not look out of place.
The 250gsm tarp is manufactured from polyethylene with a 14 x 14 weave count per square inch. Each corner had been reinforced with plastic to provide even more resistance to forces being put on the sheet. Also eyelets are present in every corner as well as approximately every meter along the hems. Due to there being more available eyelets, any strain on the cover will be more highly distributed decreasing any chance of damage. This boat tarp has been UV treated on both sides in order to avoid any damage to the plastic caused by the sun’s powerful rays. Furthermore the material is rotproof, shrinkproof and mould resistant.
